CorsetCraft-Academy.com is an online education platform (sewing school) offering access to online courses and downloadable/viewable digital patterns (PDF) – no physical products are shipped. 3. Categories of personal data processed

Depending on how you interact with the Site, we may process:

• name, surname, e-mail address, phone number and password (encrypted) – when creating an account on the Site;
• e-mail address – when purchasing a course or a pattern, to identify the order and send confirmation;
• name, phone, e-mail and message – submitted through the contact form;
• technical payment data (date, amount, a transaction identifier) – we do not collect or store bank card data (number, expiry date, CVC/CVV); payments are processed entirely by the payment provider MAIB.

4. Purposes of processing

Data is processed to: create and manage your user account; provide access to purchased courses and patterns; process and confirm payments; communicate about your order or account; respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form; comply with legal obligations (including accounting records); prevent fraud and ensure Site security.

Processing is based on: the necessity of performing the contract concluded by purchasing a course/pattern or creating an account; a legal obligation of the Operator; your consent, where required by law; the legitimate interest of the Operator, where it does not infringe your fundamental rights.

6. Data sharing with third parties

Data may be shared, strictly to the extent necessary, with:

• the payment provider MAIB – for processing and confirming online payments;
• technical, IT and hosting providers that support the Site;
• public authorities, where required by law.

The Site does not involve shipping of physical products, therefore we do not share data with couriers or delivery companies. We do not sell your personal data and do not provide it to third parties for independent use for other purposes.

7. Retention period

Account data is kept for as long as the account remains active and as necessary to provide access to purchased courses/patterns. Payment-related data is kept for the period required by applicable accounting and tax legislation.
